In a season marred so far by injuries, the news for Met fans just got a lot worse: Carlos Beltran has been placed on the 15 day disabled list with a bone bruise on his right knee. According to Newsday.com the bruise has gotten worse over time and Beltran could possibly be out longer than 15 days.
Guys this season has just gone from bad to worse. At this point all we can do is sit back and pray the best. I will say this, the adversity, and struggles this team will go through, will separate the true fans from the front runners.
