Andrew 0 Comments 1363 Read Sep 18, 2009

I've been swamped with work lately, but I promise I will get a few more rants up soon. In the meantime, here are my picks for the second week of the NFL season (remember, just winners, not point spreads). Last week I missed on the Panthers, Texans and Cardinals.

Last week: 13-3. Season: 13-3

Falcons over Panthers: Until Carolina cleans it up, it's hard to pick them.

Vikings over Lions: Hardly a shocker here. Could be closer than most expect though.

Packers over Bengals: The Packers are my suicide pool pick this week ... so they better win.

Titans over Texans: Houston looked terrible last week. Tennessee should beat them.

Raiders over Chiefs: Oakland really should have won last weekend. They will this weekend.

Patriots over Jets: This one has the makings of a classic. We shall see.

Saints over Eagles: No McNabb, no win. Simple as that for the Eagles.

Redskins over Rams: Washington remembers last year's loss to St. Louis.

Jaguars over Cardinals: Jacksonville wins on a late field goal.

Seahawks over 49ers: Seattle has owned San Francisco at Candlestick.

Bills over Bucs: Battle of terrible teams. One must win.

Steelers over Bears: This was a toss up for me. I'm going with Pittsburgh though.

Chargers over Ravens: Another toss up. I'll go with the home team.

Broncos over Browns: Denver won't need a miracle this time.

Cowboys over Giants: I really like Dallas here. Still not sold on the Giants.

Colts over Dolphins: Manning will torch Miami, without a doubt.

Yes, he is still, and will probably always be that bitter.
